This statement has been published in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It outlines the steps taken by ISA Support Services Ltd to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its own business operations and supply chains.

 

1. Introduction

ISA Support Services takes the issue of modern slavery seriously and adopts a zero tolerance approach. We aim to conduct our business fairly, ethically and with respect to all fundamental human rights. We are fully committed to the prevention of all forms of slavery, forced labour or servitude, child labour and human-trafficking, both in our business operations and in our supply chains. The ISA Foundation has been established to help those in the most vulnerable parts of society and from deprived areas across the globe.

2. Key Focus Areas

The company is focussed on two fundamental areas:

• Reviewing the approved supplier list and renewing the system of checks.

• Taking further steps to improve employee engagement.

3. Business & Operational Structure

ISA Support Services is a well-established and highly respected privately owned business that utilises a dedicated and motivated workforce and a diverse range of trusted business partners to deliver professional support services to private and public sectors organisations around the clock and across the UK. The company retains the services of an experienced risk and compliance manager who operates across the organisation in collaboration with colleagues to ensure a robust approach to all areas of operation and to coordinate the communication and implementation of processes, procedures and policies that are relevant and effective.

4. Due Diligence

The company undertakes employment screening and vetting in accordance with British Standard BS7858 and is internally and externally audited accordingly to measure compliance. The company operates an approved supplier list and undertakes a wide range of relevant checks on standards and accreditations in order to maintain the integrity of the supply chain.

5. Training & Awareness

All members of the senior leadership team at ISA Support Services Ltd will undergo Modern Slavery awareness training including periodical refresher sessions. Modern Slavery awareness will be included in all staff inductions, briefings and handbooks etc.

6. Responding to Concerns

Everyone involved with the operations of the company will be asked to alert us without delay to any suspicions of modern slavery or human-trafficking in our business or supply chains. We will thoroughly investigate, record and report on all such cases, including any actions which may be required, and work closely with relevant authorities and agencies.
